We managed to get the whole animation department together, everyone brought a different kind of food, and our professor later showed up with some games and played softball with us. Even the weather cooperated (80+ degree weather, oh yeah~). Overall it was pretty good considering it was technically our first "official" BBQ of the animation club. Next time I'll definitely bring more meat. I thought 6 lbs would be enough with the other food offered, but everyone went O AO GIMME at the meat = w=.

Also I scored me some new speakers. Can't to hook them up and watch Inception and my Michael Bay collection with them. THE BOOMS, THEY WILL BE EPIC.

All the work I accomplished in my maya class this last quarter. Some of these might look simple, but sometimes just one feature of the project could easily take the whole day... orz That's why didn't have weekends for like a month. = 3=

FFFFFFFFFFFF, first yesterday with the car crash and now today with two guys almost starting a brawl. Not as WTF or amusing as the old lady bitch fight, but it still made for an interesting bus ride.

Kinda makes me wonder what is up with this route that attracts the crazies. Cause I used to take a similar one a while back and it was never as as dramatic as this one. Hell, not even taking the subway late at night on St. Patricks day has been able to top this bus. = w=

Man was this a busy quarter. Even if it was only 3 classes, color theory practically sucked all of my free time. I easily would spend more than 6 hrs straight working on a single project since the color mixtures had to be just right, otherwise there went like 10 points off you're grade. And don't get me started on how different lighting affects the whole color scheme. Damn warm kitchen lights djiddcdcndskcn!! Okaaaaaay... I'm just gonna stop with the color theory rant since it can easily be a post on it's own. ^^:

Painting was really fun though. Even if I know that I'm not cut out for fine art, it helped me out a lot in loosening up in drawing. To just go with the flow and stuff and not over thinking it (which happens fairly often orz). I'll post the pics of the paintings tomorrow since my camera is pretty shitty during the night.

No more staying awake until 4-in-the-fucking morning for several days straight! \o/ I feel like I'm about to pass out from the lack of sleep, but aside from that, I feel great. 83 I have so many fandom related things I've had to put in the back-burner that it's not even funny, so it's nice that I'm finally gonna have time for them.

Anyways, time for so much need rest! :D

...yet. School has been consuming most of fandom time with all the projects and stuff. Surprisingly it isn't animation, but my advance 2D fundamentals that's been giving me hell. Just finished one part of the assignment that tired my eyes out pretty bad (damn tiny directional lines DX). The good thing at least is that I'm being forced to keep drawing most of the time = w= d

In other news, I might be getting a brand new 42" plasma TV pretty soon! *crosses fingers*
