Ok, I admit, I'm writing this just to pimp our first film. I wouldn't have done it if I hadn't believed in it so fucking much.

Here's the link to our indiegogo campaign: http://igg.me/at/tomorrow/x/1770509

Who we are

We’re a group of students from Slovenia, a small european country. We met each other on an acting course which was held by Tamara, who shared the knowledge she acquired on an intensive acting course at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. We started with PSAs about various social causes (marriage equality, obesity, homelessness...). It quickly became serious and we decided to make a play called Therapy, which talks about different people who come to a self-help group and soon realize that they are not pestered by problems, but secrets they had to bear throughout their lives. It is based on common stereotypes in our society. The play was a success and we decided to make the next step. The true love for most of us is film.

Story behind the project:

During the play, Drago started writing the script for his first full-length feature film. He has written a few scripts before, but with the strong support of his newly gained friends, he decided it was time to realize the whole project. The thing that made everyone so passionate about the project was not just the story and the way it was told, but also the fact that every single person can somehow relate to it. All of us strongly believe that the message it carries can make a difference in a way of creating a more open, compassionate and tolerant society towards one another.

The film talks about three people with different backgrounds who find themselves on some rooftop in the middle of nowhere. They don’t know each other nor do they know how they ended up there. They do, however, know the fourth person on the roof - Vili, a disabled homeless person with whom they were all friends before.

They start remembering their past through flashbacks in hope of understanding what got them to that place. Each of them struggled through the obstacles that society and life itself threw at them.

Sanja, an aspiring actress, works as a waitress who is living with her abusive father. When she finally decides to audition for an academy of dramatic arts, her whole life turns upside down. Polona is an art student coming from a warm and bubbly home, but she suddenly faces a harsh reality and all the dilemmas that come by with living in the city. Dejan is a
priest, sworn to God, but nonetheless enchanted by the seductive charms of a young catholic girl.

When they finish telling their stories, they slowly start coming to a conclusion what may have sent them there, on that mysterious rooftop. Does Vili have an answer to their questions? Well, we don’t want to spoil the movie ending for you. We want you to enjoy it and come to your own conclusion. That’s what art is all about, right? :)

What we need:

We managed to shoot the whole movie and edit it, but there are still things that need to get done which we can’t do on our own. We need your help. The film needs color and audio correction, which we simply cannot afford and are not qualified enough to do ourselves.

Ok, let me introduce myself : I'm just a not-so-simple girl living in not-so-big country in Europe. Actually, I'm crazy and I live in one of the smallest countries in the world. I'm still young, but getting older with every day. I still haven't lost my childhood imagination and I want to do something with it. I want to create. I can't do that here. At least, I can't live from that here. And, yes - I think I can live from that. I'm gonna try. I'm moving to the City of Angles next year. I told you I'm crazy ;)

My life philosophy is to love everyone. Sometimes, it's not that easy living in place where mentality of majority is to be cold, sceptic, and distrustful to strangers until they prove them wrong. I'm the other way around. Love is the most common word in my dictionary. Not that cheesy romantic love between two people, but strong, deep bond between all people - family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers.

Dreaming the Dream is one thing. Making it a reality and living it is another. Takes strength, work, will, and luck too. I'm still working on me to get ready for the real work to do. I didn't go completely nuts. I don't play safe, but I play smart. I've got 6 exams left until I get my University diploma. Maybe those years were wasted, but I strongly believe that even though we make our own choices, the Universe is guiding us the right way (sometimes it can be parents, but still... you know what I mean). I've also lost over 80 pounds in past 8 months, and took some acting courses in LA.

I truly believe that dreams, ambitions, strong/hard work and positivity will get you anywhere you want to go.
