BlogSync connects your WordPress site to the BlogSync document conversion service. Convert Microsoft Word documents (.docx) and Google Docs into clean, optimized HTML, then publish directly to your WordPress site as draft posts.
This plugin acts as a receiver for content published from the BlogSync web application. All document conversion and processing happens on BlogSync’s servers – this plugin simply receives the converted content and creates posts on your WordPress site.
How It Works
- Install this plugin and enter your BlogSync API key
- Upload documents at blogsync.io
- Select your WordPress site from the staging dropdown
- Click Convert – your post appears in WordPress as a draft

External Service
This plugin connects to BlogSync (https://blogsync.io), an external document conversion service.
What data is sent to BlogSync:
- Your API key (for authentication)
- Staging request verification calls
What data is received from BlogSync:
- Post title and HTML content
- Optimized images (base64 encoded)
- Image metadata (alt text, filenames)
All communication uses HTTPS encryption. Documents you upload to BlogSync are processed and not stored after conversion.
Instalazioa
- Upload the
blogsyncfolder to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Go to BlogSync in the admin menu
- Create a free account at blogsync.io
- Go to Settings > API Keys in your BlogSync dashboard
- Create a new API key for your WordPress site
- Enter the API key in the plugin settings and save
