Yasmine Bleeth is an American actress and model. Her roles include the series Ryan’s Hope, One Life to Live, Baywatch, Nash Bridges, and Titans; the made-for-tv movies Baywatch the Movie: Forbidden Paradise, A Face to Die For, Talk to Me (1996), Crowned and Dangerous, The Lake (1998), Ultimate Deception, It Came from the Sky, Road Rage, Goodbye Casanova, Hidden War, and Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding; and the films Hey Babe!, Heaven or Vegas, BASEketball, Coming Soon (1999), Undercover Angel, and Game Over (2003).

She is the daughter of Carina and Philip Bleeth. Her father was Jewish, from a family from Russia, Germany, and Ukraine. Her mother was from Algeria, and French, and possibly Arab, ancestry; she was Catholic. Yasmine has described herself as “a bad, bad Jew.”

Yasmine is married to strip club owner Paul Cerrito.

Yasmine’s paternal grandfather was Clifford L. Bleeth (the son of Philip Bleeth and Edith Deutz/Deitz). Clifford was born in New York, to a Jewish family. Philip was born in New York, to parents from Germany, Alexander Bleeth and Caroline/Karoline Wolferman/Wolfman. Yasmine’s great-grandmother Edith was born in Russia, the daughter of Samuel Deutz and Deborah Budoff.

Yasmine’s paternal grandmother was Evelynne/Evelyn Finkel (the daughter of Harry Finkel and Minnie Steinberg). Evelynne was born in Pennsylvania, to Jewish parents from Ukraine/Russia. Harry was the son of Moshe/Morris Fenkle and Dora Segal. Yasmine’s great-grandmother Minnie was the daughter of Isaac Steinberg, from Shumsk, Zhytomyr; and of Sarah Tucker, who was from Kiev.

Yasmine’s maternal grandfather was named Antoine Sellan.

Yasmine’s maternal grandmother was named Rose Padouani.

    Also: on Ancestry, I checked her maiden surname again. Carine’s maiden surname was Sellam not Sellan, which is a surname of Arabic origin and is also found in North Africa.

      So I would assume that Yasmine’s maternal ancestry is French, Algerian (through the Sellam line) and Italian (through the Padovani line).
