Michael’s great-grandfather Don was born in Hobbs, Tipton, Indiana, the son of Thomas William Longfellow and Jeannette Bell Hobbs. Michael’s great-grandmother was the daughter of Lawrence Hasty Woodward, whose paternal grandparents were from Wiltshire, England; and of Grace J. Jones.<\/p>\n

Michael’s paternal grandmother was Kathleen Agnes Brady (the daughter of James Thomas Brady and Deborah L. Kinanne). Kathleen was born in North Dakota. James was born in Waverly, Wright County, Minnesota, the son of James Thomas Brady, who was Irish; and of Mary Caroline Brown. Deborah was born in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Michael’s maternal grandfather was Lawrence Harlan Feser (the son of Edward Joseph Feser and Mary Elizabeth Loughman). Edward was born in Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Mary Elizabeth was born in Aspen, Colorado, the daughter of Irish parents, Michael\/Mikel W. Loughman, who was from Hollyford, County Tipperary, and Julia A. Harrington, who was from Milleens, Eyeries, Beara, Co. Cork.<\/p>\n

Michael’s maternal grandmother was Julie Ann Draves (the daughter of parents surnamed Draves and Gordon). Michael’s great-grandfather was the son of William George Draves, whose father was German; and of a woman surnamed Whippe, whose own paternal grandfather, and mother, were English. Michael’s great-grandmother’s father, Norman Leroy Gordon, had a mother from Harris, Inverness, Highland, Scotland. Michael’s great-grandmother’s mother, Marion Martha Anstett, was born in Formosa, Bruce County, Ontario, of German descent, and herself had paternal grandparents from Alsace-Lorraine, France, and maternal grandparents from Germany, with roots in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.<\/p>\n
