His roles also include the shows Shortland Street<\/em>, Nevernight<\/em>, The Dead Lands<\/em>, Home and Away<\/em>, Prosper<\/em>, and Spartacus: House of Ashur<\/em>, and the film Choose Love<\/em>.<\/p>\n

On his paternal side, Jordi is of Ng\u0101ti Toa, Te \u0100ti Awa, and Ng\u0101ti Raukawa. On his maternal side, he is of Te Arawa and Ng\u0101ti Maniapoto. Jordi was raised in the LDS (Mormon) religion.<\/p>\n

Jordi’s paternal grandfather was James (Jim) Hona Webber (the son of Tukumaru Hona Webber and Sarah\/Saidie McGill Blair Johnson). James was from Kapiti, New Zealand. Tukumaru was the son of Hona William Webber, whose father was of English and Scottish descent, and whose mother was Ng\u0101ti Toa; and of Utauta Akerama Parata, whose father was of Te \u0100ti Awa iwi, Ng\u0101ti Toa iwi, and English, descent, and whose mother was of Ng\u0101ti Raukawa. Hona William’s great-grandfather was chief Te Rangih\u012broa Waipunahau. Jordi’s great-grandmother Sarah was of Scottish descent.<\/p>\n

Jordi’s paternal grandmother is named Pam. Pam emigrated with her family from England to New Zealand around the 1950s.<\/p>\n

Jordi’s maternal grandfather is Bunny Orsmby (the son of Te Hiko\/Hika (Bonnie) Miller Ormsby and Phyllis Isobelle Cox). Te Hiko’s father was John (Hone) Miller Ormsby, whose paternal grandfather was from County Louth, Ireland, paternal grandmother was of Ng\u0101ti Maniapoto, maternal grandfather was from Belfast, Nothern Ireland, and maternal grandmother was M\u0101ori. Te Hiko’s mother was Mihi Matenga Paki, whose father was M\u0101ori and whose mother was was of English\/Scottish and M\u0101ori\/Ng\u0101ti Maniapoto descent. Jordi’s great-grandmother Phyllis’ family came from Cambridgeshire, England. Jordi is a distant cousin of politician Nanaia Mahuta<\/a>, through their Ormsby line.<\/p>\n

Jordi’s maternal grandmother was Molly Te Paekihanga Tahana\/Nicholas. Molly was adopted in 1952, by Pini Tahana and his wife, Ruihi Kingi, in Rotorua, New Zealand. Molly’s biological parents were Peter Leslie Nicholas and Te Kirihaehae Kingi.<\/p>\n
