Ian’s maternal grandfather was Julian Victor Oechslin (the son of Hans\/John Ernest Oechslin and Julia Christen). Julian was born in Wisconsin. Hans was the son of Johann Gottfried Oechslin and Mary Barbara Portmann, both from Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland. Julia was born in Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Ian’s maternal grandmother was Joyce L. Goodman (the daughter of Irving French Goodman and Ethel Fay Atter). Joyce was born in Wisconsin. Irving was the son of James Ulysses Goodman and Tyra Sweeney. Ethel was the daughter of Benjamin Thorp Atter and Matilda Augusta Bauermeister.<\/p>\n
