Stella Lefty, also stylized as STELLA LEFTY, is an American singer and songwriter. Her songs include “Boston,” “I Know I Know,” “Something to Lose,” and “Good at Leaving.” She usually performs in the country-pop and indie-folk genres.

She is the daughter of Elizabeth and billionaire businessperson Eric Lefkofsky. Her father founded, and is CEO of, health technology company Tempus AI. He also co-founded e-commerce marketplace Groupon, Echo Global Logistics (ECHO), InnerWorkings (INWK), and advertising services and software company Mediaocean; and is a co-managing partner of Chicago-based venture capital firm Lightbank. Stella moved to Los Angeles, California, for her career.

Stella’s paternal grandfather was William L. “Bill” Lefkofsky (the son of Zell Lefkofsky and Catherine/Katherine/Katharine “Katie” Helper). William was born in Canada, and was a structural engineer. Zell was born in Naren, Poland. Katharine was born in Port Arthur, Canada, the daughter of Isaac Helper and Fannie.

Stella’s paternal grandmother was named Sandy.

Stella’s maternal grandfather was the son of Irving Kramer and Mary Sterling.
