She has starred in the films Girlfriends (2006), Madame Irma, In the Beginning (2009), Bye Bye Blondie, Augustine, Friends from France, Her (2013), The Dancer, The Stopover, A Good Man, Little Fish (2020), The Blazing World, and Mayday.

Her father was Jewish, from a family from Russia and Poland. Her relatives were killed in the Holocaust. Her mother is of Italian and French descent. She was raised Catholic.

Soko has a son.
