Shea Whigham is an American actor. He is the son of Beth, a school librarian, and Frank Whigham, an attorney. He was raised partly in Lake Mary, Florida. Shea is married to Christine, with whom he has four children, including actress Giorgia Whigham.

Shea’s paternal grandfather was Julian Bertie Whigham (the son of Bertie/Bert/Burtis Franklin Whigham and Minnie Dayton Weeks). Julian was born in Kinston, Coffee, Alabama.
