She is known for her roles in the films All You’ve Got, The House Bunny, Surfer, Dude; Touchback, Celeste and Jesse Forever, 21 & Over, Walk of Shame, and American Made, and on the shows Quintuplets, The Loop, 7th Heaven, Mad Love, Parks and Recreation, Marry Me, and Spinning Out.
She is the daughter of Debbie and Robert Wright. She has deep roots in Kentucky. Sarah is married to actor Eric Christian Olsen, with whom she has three children.
