Sam Kerr is an Australian professional footballer. A striker, she plays for Chelsea, and the Australia national team. She was previously with Perth Glory, Sydney FC, Western New York Flash, Sky Blue FC, and Chicago Red Stars.

She is descended from Denzil Mowbray Kerr, who was born in Calcutta.
