Rose’s paternal grandfather was James Robert McGowan (the son of Robert Emmet McGowan and Ruby Lorena Newman). James was born in Salt Lake, Utah. Robert was the son of Daniel Joseph McGowan, whose father was Northern Irish and maternal grandparents were Scottish, and of Catherine Eva Schaefer, whose parents were German. Ruby was the daughter of Hanson Harrison Newman and Lugenia Emeline “Emma” Wayne, and had deep lines in America.

Rose’s paternal grandmother was Nora Mascotte (the daughter of Albert Joseph Mascotte and Irene Hill). Nora was born in Nebraska, and had deep lines in America. Kenneth L. Morehouse = Kenneth Lee Morehouse

Rose’s ethnicity: English, as well as French-Canadian/French, German, Scottish, possibly some Irish, distant Dutch, Danish and Swedish

I found an obituary for Kenneth Morehouse that lists a daughter named Terri McGowan, of Italy.

Kenneth died in Longview, Washington in 1975, and according to Terri and Daniel’s marriage record, Terri was born in Longview, WA.

That would make Rose’s maternal grandparents:

Kenneth L. Morehouse (the son of Bert Edward Morehouse and Gladys Cora Martin). Kenneth was born in Idaho. Bert was the son of Edward William Morehouse and Maude Millett. Gladys was the daughter of Harry Rufus Martin and Jennie June Folwell.

Sharon Lee Burch (the daughter of Herbert William Burch and Vera Mae Ferrell). Sharon was born in Washington. Herbert was the son of William Newton Burch and Lula Saylor. Vera was the daughter of Jesse Clayborn Farrell and Lottie Mae Showalter.

I don’t know where the last name Mason comes in, but Kenneth was married to a different woman only 2 years after his marriage to Sharon, so maybe Sharon married someone with the last name Mason.
