Renee O’Connor is an American actress, producer, and director. She is known for playing Gabrielle on the series Xena: Warrior Princess.

Renee is the daughter of Sandra and Walter O’Connor. She was raised mostly in Katy, Texas. She is married to Jed Sura. She has a son with her former husband, restaurateur Steve Muir; and a daughter with Jed.

Renee’s paternal grandfather was Harold Garland O’Connor (the son of Walter James O’Connor and Garnette Ida Lilly). Harold was born in Roanoke, Virginia. Walter was the son of Stephen O’Connor and Mary Elizabeth Enright, who were born in Illinois, both of them to Irish parents. Garnette was the daughter of Robert Cyrus Lilly and Willie E.
