Peter Crombie was an American film and television actor. His roles included the series Seinfeld and L.A. Firefighters; the mini-series House of Frankenstein; the films The Blob (1988), Born on the Fourth of July, Desperate Hours (1990), The Doors (1991), Rising Sun, Natural Born Killers, Safe, Se7en (1995), and My Dog Skip; and the made-for-tv movies Broken Vows and A Walton Easter.

He was the son of Virginia Barbara (Taborsky) and Peter Blyth Crombie, Jr. His father was of half Scottish and half Bohemian Czech descent. His mother was born in Cicero, Cook, to Czech parents. He was raised in Chicago suburb Oak Lawn.

Peter’s paternal grandfather was Peter Blyth Crombie, Sr. (the son of James Baird Crombie and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Blyth). Peter’s grandfather Peter was born in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.
