Paul Leyden is an Australian actor, screenwriter, director, and producer. His roles include the shows Home and Away, As the World Turns, LAX, Canal Road, and The Young and the Restless; and the mini-series Tribe (1999) and Maneater. He directed the films Come Back to Me, which he co-wrote; Chick Fight, and R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned, which he also co-wrote; co-wrote the films Miss Monday and The Factory (2012); and directed and wrote episodes of the show Cleaners.
He is the son of Ros and John Leyden. The surname Leyden is generally considered to be of English and Scottish origin, although it can also be Dutch.
Paul is married to French actress Alexia Barlier, with whom he has a daughter.
