Nick Fuentes is an American far-right political commentator, live streamer, influencer, podcaster, and conspiracy theorist. He is known for his antisemitic, white supremacist, and Christian nationalist views. He participated in rallies leading to the siege on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Nick is the son of Lauren and William “Bill” Fuentes. He grew up in La Grange Park, Illinois. He was raised Catholic.

Nick’s paternal grandfather was Joseph J. Fuentes (the son of Simon/Simeón Puente Rangel Fuentes and Dolores/Delores Lola Cendra Soto). Joseph was born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois. Simon was born in Laguna de Guadalupe, San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of José Ascensión Fuentes/Puente Muñoz and María Díonicia/Dionisia Rangel Garcia. Nick’s great-grandmother Dolores was born in El Paso, Texas, or Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, the daughter of Mexican parents, Luis Cendra, from San Luis Potosi; and Luz Maria Luisa Soto, of Monterrey.

Nick’s paternal grandmother was Joan Bridget “Joni” King (the daughter of Patrick Francis King and Mary Margaret Galvin). Joan was born in Chicago, Illinois. Patrick was born in Chicago, the son of Irish parents, William John King and Bridget Mary O’Connor, who were from County Limerick. Nick’s great-grandmother Mary Margaret was born in Chicago, the daughter of Irish parents, Peter Joseph Galvin, who was from Limerick; and Margaret F. Barrett.

Nick’s maternal grandfather was Martin Vincent Chicco (the son of Paul/Paolo Chicco and Rosetta/Rosa Albanese). Martin was born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, to Italian parents, from Puglia, Apulia. Paul was the son of Giovanni Chicco and Angela/Maria Sciascia. Rosetta was born in Sannicandro Di Bari, Bari, the daughter of Martino Albanese and Maria Giuseppa Tassielli.

Nick’s maternal grandmother was Marlene Cairo (the daughter of Giuseppe/Joseph/Joe Cairo and Mary Nuzzo). Giuseppe was born in New York, the son of Italian parents, from Cosenza, Calabria, Charles Pasquale Cairo, from Marano Principato; and Maria Carmela/Marietta Caira.
