He always gave me Mexican vibes, this makes a lot of sense. The Italian is also pretty evident in his appearance, and 23andMe gave him a specific region, Calabria, meaning he probably has a southern Italian great grandparent.
He looks southern European (mostly Italian) and northwestern European (mostly British), he has a lot of German ancestry but i really can’t see the German in him. He also has some noticeable native traits but they are overwhelmed by the European side.
If they told me he was 1/4 Japanese, I would have believed that.
I don’t think he looks like someone with THAT MUCH Asian ancestry, sure he has noticeable native traits (an ethnicity that slightly overlaps with East Asians due to ancient origins), but he’s still overwhelmingly white and he looks like it. I’ve seen people who are 80-85% European who look like him, and he’s 72%
Jonas, I don’t really see the northwestern European, he looks more like his Mexican and Italian side than anything. I’m inclined to believe Charlie has at least 3/16 if not 1/4 Southern Italian ancestry (since the test didn’t clarify where the remainder of his southern European ancestry came from). 23andMe also gives full Southern Italians significant West Asian/North African ancestry (I’ve seen anywhere from 5-25%).
And he could hypothetically have up to 3/8ths Italian, though I think he is closer to 20%.
I dont exactly why you guys are so obsessed with S.Italians. I confirm that he looks like he might be part Japanese. But it’s because of the Amerindian in him.
Because as their personal tradition and ultra frustration they like to target other ethnicities and hide the strong non-Euro side of the Iberians they got, he can be so easily from Spain and Portugal but more from the second because Portoguese are like 70%-80% Arabs than the first who are 50%.

If you mean that 6,5%, it’s either white or amerindian
Crazy how the test wasn’t capable of specifying in what category those 6.5% belonged to, that’s pretty considerable to be unassigned, pretty sure even a quick search through his documented ancestry would track that down. It goes to show that these tests are often very ineffective.

Then it’s an older version of the test. 23andMe hasn’t done “unassigned” since many updates ago. 23andMe is quite accurate, probably the most accurate of the popular commercially available test.

He’s not. His genetic test certainly doesn’t corroborate that claim.
