Moira Kelly is an American actress. Her roles include the films The Boy Who Cried Bitch, Billy Bathgate, The Cutting Edge, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, Chaplin (1992), Cannibal! The Musical, With Honors, The Lion King (1994), Little Odessa, The Tie That Binds, Unhook the Stars, Entertaining Angels: The Dorothy Day Story, Love Walked In, Drive, She Said; Dangerous Beauty, Hi-Life, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, The Safety of Objects, The Lion King 1½, Two Tickets to Paradise, and Remember the Daze; the video game Disney Dreamlight Valley; the mini-series Love, Lies and Murder; the made-for-tv movies Daybreak (1993), Monday After the Miracle, A Smile as Big as the Moon, Taken Back: Finding Haley, Deadly Sorority, Girl in the Bunker, Christmas In Louisiana, My Southern Family Christmas, and Love of the Irish; and the shows To Have & to Hold, The West Wing, One Tree Hill, which she also directed episodes of; The Resident, Panic, and Citadel. Moira is the daughter of Anne, a nurse, and Peter Kelly, a trained concert violinist. Her parents are Irish emigrants, with at least partial roots in Dublin. She grew up in Ronkonkoma, New York, and was raised Catholic. Moira is married to businessperson Steve Hewitt, with whom she has two children.
