Max Joseph is an American filmmaker, and television and game show host. He co-developed and co-presented MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show. He also directed and co-wrote the film We Are Your Friends.

He is married to Priscila.

Max’s maternal grandfather was Jacob “Jack” Rudman (the son of Pinchas “Max” Rudman and Faiga Malka “Fannie” Marder). Jacob was born in New York, to parents from Russia. Faiga was the daughter of Hairsch Volv ben Moisha Yitsic “Isaac” Marder and Sarah Zlotta Rudd.

Max’s maternal grandmother was named Frances Zimmerman.
