Mark Consuelos is an American actor. He starred as Hiram Lodge on the show Riverdale. His roles also include the series All My Children, Connect With English, American Family, Missing, Hope & Faith, Age of Love, I Hate My Teenage Daughter, American Horror Story: Asylum, Alpha House, Kingdom, Pitch, Queen of the South, The Night Shift, The Girls on the Bus, Primos, Running with the Wolves, and 9-1-1; the films The Great Raid, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Wedding Daze, Husband for Hire, Cop Out, A Walk Among the Tombstones, All We Had, Nine Lives (2016), and Scream 7; and the made-for-tv movie Beautiful Girl (2003). He has been a host of the show Live with Kelly and Mark since 2023.
Mark was born in Zaragoza, Spain, the son of Camilla De Micheli and Isaul “Saul” Consuelos Resendiz. His father is Mexican. His mother was born in 1940 in Tripoli, Libya, then an Italian colony, to Italian parents. Mark was raised in Italy; the city Lebanon, Illinois; and Tampa and Valrico, in Florida. He has said that he can not speak Spanish, but speaks Italian.
Mark is married to television personality and actress Kelly Ripa, with whom he has three children, including Michael Consuelos, who played the younger version of his character on Riverdale; and rhythm and blues singer and songwriter Lola Consuelos.
