She starred as Diane Szalinski in the films Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989) and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid, and in the short film attraction, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience! Her roles also included the series The Patty Duke Show, M*A*S*H, Welcome Back, Kotter; Good Time Harry, TV 101, Booker, Aaahh!!! Yeah, I should’ve checked Ancestry first. The problem is that I went straight to FamilySearch, and I saw that the ancestor had that surname and was born in Austria. So I assumed she might have been ethnically Austrian, since Strassman can be an Austrian surname as well.

Arthwen is a good author and one of the kindest people on the site. They made a mistake, but everyone does. I have too. You get better over time and I think most everyone on the site has had problems with genealogy. I have had to correct wrong genealogy in the past from other authors on the site because no one is perfect. Fixing mistakes is extra beneficial if you learn from them, and I am sure arthwen has. Genealogy takes practice, and this is an honest mistake. Their genealogy is on fleek for the most part.

A lot of people take this site way too seriously when, at the end of the day, it’s really not a big deal. The admins correct mistakes all the time, even if it sometimes takes a while. So honestly, I don’t really care if some people think I’m not a decent author or whatever. At the end of the day, I’m going to keep posting the profiles I want to post!
No problem! And the point of the matter is (when correcting wrong genealogy) to be kind and post the actual results. It’s not hard for people to be kind and correct others. You are a pleasant person to interact with and I have had an amazing time knowing you. I needed to do the WikiTree 1k edits challenge but now I am back onto Kip Pardue.
Yeah, exactly. Instead of being condescending, it’s better to just correct people kindly… but I guess that’s not everyone’s strong suit. Anyway, I’m so excited for Kip’s profile! I’ve always been curious about his ancestry since I grew up watching his movies haha
