Kate Micucci is an American actress, comedian, singer, songwriter, and artist. She is one half of musical comedy duo Garfunkel and Oates, along with Riki Lindhome.
Kate is the daughter of Lynn and Michael Micucci. She is married to record producer, musician, singer, and songwriter Jake Sinclair, with whom she has a son.
Kate’s paternal grandfather was Eugene J. Micucci (the son of Michele Micucci and Mary Gallagher). Eugene was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. Michele was born in Manhattan, New York City, the son of Francesco Antonio Micucci and Francesca Emidia Viggiano, who were from Basilicata, Italy. Mary was born in New York City, to Irish parents.
Kate’s paternal grandmother was Apollonia Belle/Bella D’Urso (the daughter of Giuseppe D’Urso and Rosa DeVito). Belle was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. Giuseppe was born in New York City, to Italian parents, Gaetano D’Urso and Anna Appolonia Casamassima, who were from Toritto, Bari, Puglia. Kate’s great-grandmother Rosa was born in Toritto, the daughter of Domenico Devito and Addolorata Longo.
Kate’s maternal grandfather was named Edward L. Barry (the son of Leo Barry and Victoria). Edward was born in New Jersey, to a Polish father and a Czech mother.

The Sicilian tag appears to be a mistake, I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere in the genealogy.
The find is that she is 1/8 Irish.
There’s a Census record that certifies both Mary Gallagher parents were born in Ireland.

Am I the only one who’s sort of bummed out there’s no further details on where her ancestors came from? Most Italian Americans come from Campania, Calabria, and Sicily, but hard to say which part MiCucci’s relatives came from with no regions given, in addition to her Polish and Czech great grandparents. Must’ve not been included in the genealogy that Savanna looked at.
Though andrew might know where some of MiCucci’s surnames originate. I use forebears when investigating surnames, but I’ve heard that that website is not always accurate.
