@observer24 these aren’t my words, but i saw this and i think that this is a pretty concise way on detecting on who is white if they have a level of non white admixture. It also depends on what you’d consider as white, but I view white simply as someone who clusters within the european genome. The whole ben franklin-esque narrative that anyone who is not purebred anglo saxon is brown is pretty pseudoscientific. It’s not unreasonable to say that someone who is nordic or germanic is whiter than a balkaner or mediterranean, but that doesn’t negate those groups being solidly white
For an individual to be classified as White, the overwhelming majority of their ancestry must be European.
The “permissible” percentage of non-European ancestry depends entirely upon what race individuals are mixed with. The more divergent the race in terms of genotype and phenotype, the lower the percentage.
75% European + 25% Caucasian (e.g. Chechen) is incomparable to 75% European + 25% Amerindian, African, or East Asian. However, people with 12.5% African ancestry generally look non-White, while people with 12.5% East Asian ancestry generally look White.
So, a standardized rule like “one non-White great-grandparent = White” is inappropriate. A sincere “one drop” rule is also indefensible because genetics have proven that people of every race have at least some minor ancestry from other races. Such a rule would be dismantled effortlessly.
Northern and Germanics can’t be whiter they hold so Mongoloid features they reseamble Chinese folk, also the Meds split in many others races like the Alpines, the Dinarics etc particulary in Italy and much less in the Balkans, Spain, Portugal, every European countries have sub-races. But you CAN’T know it cause you’re not European from Europe like me but you can only speculate, you said some Middle Easterns mixed to Europeans are simply Europeans with Mena admixture. Lol.
What do you think of this https://imgur.com/a/TGvKnvg
I think that that makes sense
This is my exact ethnic makeup lol i feel seen
Kate Hudson doesn’t have any Dutch ancestry at all.
I used to list her as remote Dutch or something. She may or may not have a Dutch ancestor at around the early 1600s or the 1500s. Not sure if it’s at 1/1024 or more.
Well, we all could
