That’s not Jerry’s paternal grandfather, his ethnicity it’s still right though…

Seems like every celebrity with croatian ancestry has dark brown hair and brown eyes
Yes, He is obviously of Croatian descent. I don’t know why @Follers thought it was comical to submit him originally as only Irish???
His eyes appear to be more of a dark green than brown to me. It’s more noticeable in this picture: https://people.com/tv/miranda-cosgrove-reunites-with-nathan-kress-jerry-trainor-icarly-revival-set/
Yeah, you’re right
@Follers, his paternal grandfather was Edmund J. Trainor (the son of John H. Trainor and Catherine Frances Sullivan).
His paternal grandmother was Virginia Louise Powers (the daughter of William H. Powers and Mary Angela Harrington)
Jerry Trainor is pretty much 62.5% Irish from his father and maternal grandfathers father. He is 25% Croatian from his maternal grandmothers side. and 12.5% German from his maternal grandfathers mothers side.
I would write it out as percentages in his ethnicity but only a suggestion
Paul Petricevic was born in Vöcklabruck Bezirk, Upper Austria, Austria.
His maternal grandparents were Leo Matthew McNeely Jr. (1920-2006) and Eva Madelyn Petricevic (1920-2015), the daughter of Austrian born parents Paul Petricevic and Vicotria Ruzek. I am guessing some Czeck and Slovak on his maternal grandmothers side of his family.
I think his father William Matthew Trainor (1950), was the son of Henry J. Trainor (Pennsylvania) and Gail F. Gunz (California). Henry was the son of Harry Joseph Trainor and Jane Mary Brown. Gail was the daughter of Katherine and Frank Edward Gunz. Implying German heritage.
Sure doesn’t seem like she was his grandmother:

Yea I was sure about his maternal side. I said think about paternal grandparents. Minnie wasn’t of jewish heritage? Schoenick off the top of my head sounds jewish.
I take that back… Her parents appear to be German Protestants August Schoenick (1852) and Louisa Bublitz (1852) as reported by Geneanat (ancestry.com).
@Follers, big favor. Please look into this and say if these are his paternal grandparents… thanks in advance.
