Jennifer Grant is an American actress.

She is the daughter of actor Cary Grant and actress, director, screenwriter, editor, and producer Dyan Cannon. Her uncle is jazz bassist David Friesen. Jennifer is married to director and producer Randy Zisk, with whom she has two children.

Her father was born in Bristol, England, and moved to the U.S. at the age of sixteen. His ancestry was English, one quarter Welsh, and possibly some Scottish. Her mother was born in Tacoma, Washington, of half German and half Russian Jewish descent.

Jennifer’s paternal grandfather was Elias James Leach (the son of John James Leach and Elizabeth Leafe/Leaf). Elias was born in Lawrence Weston, Bristol. John was born in Brent Knoll, Sedgemoor District, Somerset, the son of Lt. Col. Sir George Archibald Leach and Mary. Jennifer’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was born in Poole, Dorset, the daughter of Henry Leafe/Leaf and Elizabeth Anness/Anniss.

Jennifer’s paternal grandmother was Elsie Maria Kingdon/Kingdom (the daughter of William Kingdon and Elizabeth Morgan). Jennifer’s grandmother Elsie was born in Clifton, Bristol. William was the son of William Kingdom/Kingdon and Ann. Jennifer’s great-grandmother Elizabeth was born in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.

Jennifer’s maternal grandfather was Anton Benjamin Friesen (the son of Jacob Peter Friesen and Maria Klassen). Anton was born in Canada, to ethnic German parents from Russia, with roots in Chortitza. Jacob was the son of Peter Friesen and Maria Buhr.
