Jean Wallace was an American television and film actress and model. Her roles included the films Louisiana Purchase, It Shouldn’t Happen to a Dog, Blaze of Noon, Jigsaw (1949), The Man on the Eiffel Tower, The Good Humor Man (1950), Native Son (1951), Star of India, The Big Combo, Storm Fear, The Devil’s Hairpin, Maracaibo, Lancelot and Guinevere, Beach Red, and No Blade of Grass.

She was the daughter of Mary Agnes and John Theodore Walasek. She had two children with her former husband, actor, producer, and director Franchot Tone; and a son with her former husband, actor and director Cornel Wilde. All of her films after Native Son involved Wilde in a directing and/or starring role.

Jean’s paternal grandfather was named Karol Walasek/Walaszek.

Jean’s paternal grandmother was named Franciszka/Frances Sasiadek/Walinski.
