Jason Ralph is an American film and stage actor, and theatre producer. His roles include the shows Gossip Girl, Aquarius, Madam Secretary, Manhattan, The Magicians, Younger, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Three Women; and the films I’m Obsessed with You, A Most Violent Year, Those People, and I’m Thinking of Ending Things; as well as many stage performances.

He was raised in McKinney, a city outside Dallas, Texas. Jason is married to actress Rachel Brosnahan.

Jason’s maternal grandfather was Thomas “Tom” Noel (the son of Frank George Noel and Frances Popma). Frank was the son of Peter H. Noel and Anna Kuhn, whose mother was German. Frances was the daughter of John A. Popma, whose parents were Dutch; and of Katherine M. Hoving, whose parents were also Dutch.

Jason’s maternal grandmother was Joy Bonzheim (the daughter of Robert Christian Bonzheim and Wilma Henrietta Rinvelt). Joy was born in Michigan. Robert was born in Michigan, the son of Christian William Bonzheim, who was German; and of Matie Ella Wood. Jason’s great-grandmother Wilma was born in Michigan, the daughter of Henry John Rinvelt, whose parents were Dutch; and of Theresa Breuker, who was also Dutch.
