Jane Kaczmarek is an American actress. She is known for playing Lois on the series Malcolm in the Middle.

Jane is the daughter of Evelyn Delores and Edward Anthony Kaczmarek. She is married to Rusty Long, who had been her high school sweetheart. She has three children with her former husband, actor and liberal political activist Bradley Whitford.

Jane’s paternal grandfather was Szczepan Kaczmarek (the son of Antoni Kaczmarek and Rozalia Buszka). Szczepan was born in Ośno, Nieszawa Uyzed, Warsaw, Russian Empire. Antoni was born in Posen, Prussia, the son of Maciej Kaczmarek and Katarzyna Łukasik. Jane’s great-grandmother Rozalia was born in Bądkowo, Aleksandrów, Kuyavia-Pomerania, the daughter of Tomasz Buszka and Marianna Bett.

Jane’s maternal grandfather was Judge Frank Edwin Gregorski (the son of Stanislaus/Stanislaw Gregorski/Grzegorski and Marya/Marianna Kador/Wroblewska). Frank was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Polish parents, from Posen, Prussia. Stanislaus was born in Trlong, Mogilno, the son of Bartholomaeus Grzegorski and Michalina Bilka/Beling.
