Gary Cole is an American actor and voice actor. Often cast as scornful beaurocrats, his roles include the films In the Line of Fire, A Simple Plan, Office Space, One Hour Photo, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and the series Midnight Caller, American Gothic, The West Wing, Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law; Family Guy, Kim Possible, The Good Wife, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Veep, Bob’s Burgers, The Good Fight, and NCIS.
He is the son of Margaret, a director of finance, and Robert Cole, a school administrative assistant. Gary is married to interior designer Michelle Knapp. He has a daughter with his late wife, actress Teddi Siddall.
