Frankie Jonas is an American actor. His roles include the shows Jonas and The Haunting Hour: The Series; the films Ponyo, Spooky Buddies, The Reef 2: High Tide, and A Very Jonas Christmas Movie; and the made-for-tv movie Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. He has been a co-host of Claim to Fame. He is also known as Frank Jonas.
Frankie is the son of Denise (Miller), a singer and sign language teacher, and Paul Kevin Jonas, a songwriter and musician, who was an ordained Assemblies of God minister. He is the brother of singers and actors Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas, the three of whom make up the band The Jonas Brothers. He was raised partly in Westlake, Texas.
Frankie’s father, who is from a family from the American South, has German, English, and Scottish ancestry. Frankie’s mother, who is from the New Jersey area, has Irish, as well as Italian Sicilian and French-Canadian, ancestry.
The Jonas Brothers have also stated that they have Cherokee Native American ancestry. It is not clear if this ancestry has been verified/documented.
Frankie is related to congressmen Charles A. Jonas (1876-1955), and Charles’s son, Charles R. Jonas (1904-1988), both of North Carolina. Frankie descends from the same Jonas line.
It is not publicly known who Frankie’s biological paternal grandfather is.
Frankie’s paternal grandmother, now Cecilia Lucas, was born under the name Cecilla/Cecilia Paulette Jonas (the daughter of Paul Adam Jonas and Nellie May/Mae Fox). Cecilia was born in North Carolina. Paul was the son of Henry Walter Jonas and Nora Lee/Leigh Campbell. Nellie was the daughter of Nathan/Walter Henry Fox and Elizabeth/Lizzie Mae Hamilton. Through the Jonas line, Frankie is descended from German immigrants to the United States in the 1700s.
Frankie’s maternal grandfather was Gerald “Jerry” Miller (the son of Henry J. Miller, Jr. and Agnes Marie Carroll/Carrol). Gerald was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York. Henry was the son of Henry J. Miller and Anna Kelly, who was Irish. Frankie’s great-grandmother Agnes was born in The Bronx, to Irish parents, Michael Carroll, from Listowel, County Kerry; and Bridget/Bridgette “Beatrice” Lyons, from Drumnacurra, County Kerry.
Frankie’s maternal grandmother was Frances Madonia (the daughter of Fortunato Angelo “Frank” Madonia and Margaret Anna Berard). Fortunato was born in Brooklyn, New York City, the son of Sicilian Italian parents, Angelo Madonia, from Monreale; and Maria Chimero. Frankie’s great-grandmother Margaret was born in Bennington, Vemont, the daughter of Milton Dewey Berard and Anna Mary/Rose Ducharme, who were both the children of French-Canadian parents, from Québec.
Frankie’s matrilineal line can be traced to Françoise Langlois, who was born, c. 1601, in France, where she lived in Dieppe, Normandy.

It is unclear who the Jonas Brother’s paternal grandfather is. Their father Paul Sr. used his own mother’s surname of “Jonas”. This means that the Jonas Brother’s are NOT technically Jonas’ at ALL!! Their father’s biological father’s could be anything! We don’t know his last name or who he is so therefore the brother’s are technically traditionally not Jonas brothers!
Crazy how he looks way whiter than his older brothers despite being 100% their sibling
Very outdate picture and the lighting not’s great. He honestly looks just like them, now.
