Frank Miller is an American comic book writer, novelist, inker, screenwriter, film director, and producer. He is known for his graphic novels/limited series comics Ronin, Daredevil: Born Again, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Year One, Sin City, and 300. He co-wrote the films RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3; co-directed the films Frank Miller’s Sin City, which he also co-wrote; and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which he wrote; and directed and wrote the film The Spirit (2008). He also co-created the show Cursed.

He was born in Olney, Maryland, and raised in Montpelier, Vermont.
