Elliot Page is a Canadian actor, producer, and activist. Elliot is the son of Martha Philpotts and Dennis Page. Elliot is transgender. He was previously credited as Ellen Page.

Elliot’s paternal grandfather was Sidney Burton Page (the son of George Blake Page and Grace Lillian DeWolfe). Sidney was born in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. George was born in Lydgate, Shelburn, Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of Capt. Enos William Page, a master mariner; and of Annie Martha Thorburn, whose paternal grandfather, and maternal grandmother, were from Midlothian, and Cromarty, Ross and Cromarty, respectively, both in Scotland, and whose paternal grandmother was Irish. Elliot’s great-grandmother Grace was born in Waltham, Middlesex, Massachusetts. Grace’s father, Thomas Parker Calkin DeWolf, was Canadian, from Liverpool, Queens, Nova Scotia, and had a maternal grandfather from County Londonderry, Ireland. Grace’s mother, Elliot’s great-great-grandmother Lillian Gertrude Wilson, was American, with deep roots in Massachusetts.

Elliot’s paternal grandmother was Kathleen Marie Lyons (the daughter of Dennis Maurice Lyons and Annie Harris McGinnis). Kathleen was born on Sherose Island, Barrington, Shelburne, Nova Scotia. Dennis was born in Barrington Passage, Shelburne, the son of Uriah Haskell Lyons, whose maternal grandmother was Irish; and of Elizabeth Ann Goodwin. Elliot’s great-grandmother Annie was born in Nova Scotia, the daughter of James McGinnis and Jane Harris, whose paternal grandparents were Welsh, with at least partial roots in Carmarthenshire.

Elliot’s maternal grandfather was The Rev. Gordon Wesley Philpotts (the son of The Rev. Archibald George Philpotts and Katherine/Catherine Eunice Lane). The Rev. Gordon was born in Ontario, to English parents. The Rev. Archibald was born in Bromyard, Herefordshire, the son of James Alfred Philpotts/Philpott and Alice Evans. Elliot’s great-grandmother Katherine was born in Upton upon Severn, Worcestershire, the daughter of William Henry Lane and Eliza Burell.

Elliot’s maternal grandmother was Gladys Jean MacKinnon (the daughter of Duncan Sterling McKinnon/MacKinnon and Edith Maud Crowley/Crawley). Gladys was born in New Brunswick. Duncan was the son of Archibald McKinnon and Christianna/Christina/Anna McMillan.
