Dondinho was a Brazilian professional footballer. A striker, he played for Yuracan-MG, Hepacaré, Atlético Mineiro, Atlético Três Corações, Fluminense-MG, Sport São Lourenço-MG, Fluminense-MG, and Bauru.

He was the son of Ambrosina Rosa da Conceição and João Ramos Do Nascimento. He was married to Celeste Arantes, with whom he had two children, including legendary professional footballer Pelé. He played as a centre forward.
