Doechii is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her songs “What It Is (Block Boy),” “Nissan Altima,” “Denial Is a River,” and “Anxiety.” Her third mixtape, “Alligator Bites Never Heal” (2024), won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammys, making her the third woman in the category to do so. She starred in the film Earth Mama. She is also known as Iamdoechii and The Swamp Princess.

Doechii was born in Tampa, to African-American parents, Celesia Moore and Snatcha Da Boss, a rapper who recorded professionally.
