Devin is the son of actress Ann Louise Willis and Peter Alexander Ratray/Rattray. His father was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. His mother was born in Cranston, Rhode Island.

Devin’s paternal grandfather was David Eugene Rattray (the son of David Alexander Mcintosh/Macintosh Rattray and Bessie Christina/Christena Fickes). Devin’s grandfather David was born in McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Devin’s great-grandfather David was born in Brechin, Angus, Scotland, the son of James L.
