Hey @ARTHWEN is their a reason you didn’t put the paternal genealogy that I gave you , was I wrong? Also how Spanish is he and does it come from his paternal or maternal side

Hi Observer24, sorry, I did it late at night because I didn’t have time during the day. But yes, the paternal information is correct I just forgot to include it. The Spanish branch comes from the Gatlin Jr. line (Johnny Mitchell Gatlin and Mary Reel). Mary’s paternal grandmother was Hannah Gonsolo ( the daughter of Lawrence Consolvo and Lisa Ann Johnson) .

      • arthwen says:

It comes from the maternal side (maternal grandfather)

        • arthwen says:

I need to double check, because apparently Hannah just remarried Peter (Peter Reel Sr.) and didn’t have any children with him. So someone must have attached the wrong parents to Peter Reel Jr. on FamilySearch, even though there was no reason to make that change. It’s really strange. I don’t think this is his mother.

Interesting let me know when you ascertain if he actually has any Spanish ancestry

          • arthwen says:

It has been updated! So no, he doesn’t have any Spanish ancestry, because Hannah was first married to another man named Titus Green. She didn’t have any children with Peter; it’s just that someone added the wrong branch on FamilySearch, that’s the drawback of collaborative genealogy websites
