He was a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer and U.S. Secret Service agent.
He has said, “I’m not black, I’m Italian. Seriously, can you get any dumber?” He has also stated that he is of half Italian descent.
Dan is married to Paula Martinez, with whom he has two children. Paula was born in Colombia.
Dan’s paternal grandfather was Frank Bongino (the son of Charles A. Bongino/Burns and Antonette/Antoinette Piscani). Frank was born in New York, to Italian parents. Charles was the son of Francesco Bongiorno and Lettesia Festucci. Antonette was born in Palermo, Sicily, the daughter of Frederico Pisani and Antonette Restivo.

Girolamo was born in Terrasini, Palermo, the son of Vincenzo Rugnetta and Vita. Antonia was born in Sferracavallo, the daughter of Pietro Damiano Mansueto Runfolo and Rosalia Pastorella.

In fact my father is very ethnically similar to mr bongino (half calabrian, a quarter irish, a quarter ukrainian), and he looks nothing like this. Nobody would ever mistake my dad for a black person, even during the summer
There is just no way that he’s fully european. I am part calabrian, NOBODY in my family has a bantuid nose like that. You can say that ‘sicilians are part african bro’ all day long, but berbers/moorish groups don’t look like this either. Mediterranean groups have long faces and long noses, not bantu congoid skulls. The Darkest sicilians look greek/levantine/jewish, not mulatto. He needs to take a dna test
Lmao you’re a Murican hybrid mixed to other races this man he’s South Asian as hell he isn’t European but Hispanic too because the Hispanics carry Asian dna.
Stop It moron Meds aren’t Asians, Arabs, Hispanics and all the non Europeans you see on the Murican tv.
Meds aren’t olive brown skinned, they don’t have almond shaped eyes, large or long nose and the dumbness you believe because you don’t know nothing about us.
Hes not south asian, hes black. Mediterraneans do usually have olive toned skin and a long nose, they’re called the greek nose and the roman nose. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just true. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=gyRL2tvw&id=2DF81486048FEE00DC5E03C0850C3011AFD277EE&thid=OIP.gyRL2tvwc-2SRI3RowxJwwHaIN&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F1ji1z5wrshy41.jpg&cdnurl=https%3A%2F%2Fth.bing.com%2Fth%2Fid%2FR.83244bdadbf073ed92448dd1a30c49c3%3Frik%3D7nfSrxEwDIXAAw%26pid%3DImgRaw%26r%3D0&exph=2000&expw=1804&q=gracile+mediterranid&FORM=IRPRST&ck=247DCD3979FC43C1972B79EA3A2EBEA9&selectedIndex=10&itb=0&cw=1721&ch=823&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0
No you’re describing Mena, learn biology.
“‘The darkest Sicilians look Greek, Levantine, or Jewish, not mulatto. He needs to take a DNA test.’
You call out people for darkwashing mainland Southern Italians and Sicilians, then spread similar misinformation about other groups? Greeks run the gamut from Cyprus to Slavic-speaking Macedonians in northern Greece. And ‘Jews’ is a meaningless term here. I assume you mean Ashkenazim, who on average have relatively light phenotypes, with much higher rates of red/blonde hair and blue/green eyes than what is typically seen in Southern Italians and Sicilians.
I’m not talking about just coloring, I’m mainly referring to face structure. Greeks, levantine arabs, and southern italians, all have fairly lepportine noses and overall faces, and lower robustness. Bongino has a wide african nose, and a robust face.
You’re trying to turn one guy’s face into a whole population rule, and it doesn’t work. Greeks, southern Italians, and Levantines don’t have one uniform “leptorrhine, low-robustness” look, there’s a huge range in all of them.
Calling it a “wide African nose” is just made-up labeling. Broader noses show up in Europeans all the time, it’s normal variation, not some marker that puts someone outside a group.
People used to do the same dumb thing with Babe Ruth, pointing at his broad nose and fuller lips and trying to spin it into something “non-European.” In reality, he was just a white American of German ancestry. That wasn’t insight, it was people projecting stereotypes onto normal variation.
You’re basically deciding what box Dan Bongino should fit into, then reverse-engineering traits to justify it. That’s not how this works, it’s just you forcing a conclusion.
@phreshboyswag is a clown who shout random words as “Congoid” . He also seems to have a fetish for S.Italians coming to a certain agenda.
@Genome that user is spamming he tries to brainwash us to believe Mena are white-Europeans even Nordics and he loves and target Southern Italians, he doesn’t know races he’s a ultra frustrated racist.
Like Andrew another scum who feels Finnish lol.
Of course he’s not fully European in fact he’s far from that. This dude is AT LEAST 25-37% black, there’s probably some shady family history behind all of this, mixed with political motivations.
Jonas. Go away. If you don’t have the name of an ancestor leave this site alone
There is a little nuance with this. It’s very possible that he has a black grandparent or even a black parent, but for whatever reason he had to hide it, or he just doesn’t know who his dad or grandpa is. Apparently he comes from a step-family background, so this is more than plausible
Exactly, people denying this and affirming he’s full white are just trolling and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
I never said he was fully white. I said prove it with an ancestor or else stop trolling
@jackson9
Hi, you are one of the few decent members of this website, I find interesting Dan’s brother is a sort of whiter looking version than him, though still looks facially exotic. I’ve seen many pics of relatives and everybody looks normal. Imagine if these weird looking boys are just a combination of odd features they inherited..
I am not 100% sure that is his maternal grandfather actually.
Thanks for the kind words andrew. I am not sure either.
This is him with his Sicilian grandmother: https://m.facebook.com/dan.bongino/photos/a.517057181720381/2872015422891200/?type=3
His uncle: https://www.gloverfuneral.com/memorials/Bongino-Frank/4212165/
They are white. He is not. Unsure what’s going on. His family bio is a déjà vu: parents’ divorce, (abusive) “stepdad” etc..
he is obviusly whitewashing his heritage
learn how to spell before accusing a superhero of whitewashing their heritage
excuse me, superhero?
That’s right. Show some respect.
Thanks, Alex! That is right Jonas, superhero. When you were in Kindergarten didn’t Mrs. Glucose teach you your superheroes? Batman, Spiderman, Mr. Shroud of Turin, and of course Dan Bongino. Now if you are going to write a 10 page apology to Dan I expect it to be single spaced!
damn, really hard to catch up to such a sofisticated since of humour…
*sense
Jonas is right. We need to change “conspiracy theorist” to American super hero” in his profile. This website has all the superheroes Candace Owens, Dan Bongino, etc. as conspiracy theorists???
is this whole thing some stupid inside joke? because its really not funny just so you guys know…
Speaking of inside jokes, why do you have an ugly, homeless guy as your avatar??? Not very clever :-(
IMAO now THIS joke was funny, since its so silly and far removed from reality, its obvius that i look handsome as hell in this pic, and reading this comment from ”someone” who’s not even confident enough to show his own face is even more hilarius, thats why i enjoy so much coming to this little celeb trivia site from time to time, i get to laugh a bit with all you strange nerds spitting all your internalized hatred and frustration in the form of 5th grade leval ”mean” jokes
@jonasbsjr
Some of your takes are rather bizarre
Yes, it is bizarre that he thinks he is “handsome.”
Unfortunately too many are too uneducated to even know where Sicily is located for one. For two too many have no idea what or who a southern Italian or Sicilian is. If people would educate themselves before opening their ignorant mouths maybe the light would hit them but instead people, the vast majority think they know everything even about others. Unbelievable
The most exotic people in Italy are stereotipically the Sardinians, not the Sicilians, who are just subject of old Mafia jokes, at best.
Sardinia have 4 Moors on its regional flag, after all.
Sardinia= Land of Moors.
Not Italy, not Europe.
Sicilians are not SSA. Sicilians have significant north african ancestry, which doesn’t make them look like mulattos. For context, here are some maltese (who are on average a quarter north african), sephardic jews, and north africans themselves. https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=oSPQcG8x&id=27B759CFD96B6C57179A19966F6B6547AB68C909&thid=OIP.oSPQcG8xFz-q2VuP1cvc_AHaEj&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.descubremalta.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2Fmalta-classic-people.jpg&cdnurl=https%3A%2F%2Fth.bing.com%2Fth%2Fid%2FR.a123d0706f31173faad95b8fd5cbdcfc%3Frik%3DCcloq0dla2%252bWGQ%26pid%3DImgRaw%26r%3D0&exph=700&expw=1140&q=maltese+people&FORM=IRPRST&ck=74CA9CEBCC2505E06289D7B446B592AD&selectedIndex=25&itb=0&cw=1721&ch=823&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0 https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=i%2FRcZwvD&id=CF841FD423C52E7CD7D163AC78AEA15AFC514739&thid=OIP.i_RcZwvDZtcsFKWDXftDnAHaEK&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.al-monitor.com%2Fsites%2Fdefault%2Ffiles%2Fstyles%2Farticle_hero_medium%2Fpublic%2F2023-03%2Ffc41439a77ca4a2eb2da8c25d1981a8f83288b7f.jpg%3Fh%3Da3e47efc%26itok%3DS7X8DQlv&cdnurl=https%3A%2F%2Fth.bing.com%2Fth%2Fid%2FR.8bf45c670bc366d72c14a5835dfb439c%3Frik%3DOUdR%252fFqhrnisYw%26pid%3DImgRaw%26r%3D0&exph=720&expw=1280&q=tunisians&form=IRPRST&ck=19EC35C1A93D58527678BC1701385F94&selectedindex=2&itb=0&cw=1721&ch=823&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0&pivotparams=insightsToken%3Dccid_s2wedC9i*cp_804541DFEED2F3141BA3C620B18D1AB8*mid_2B40E12981BD220DE7E9B8561893AC5606D570C8*thid_OIP.s2wedC9iBjOBU8w2B5wMlwHaD4&vt=0&sim=11&iss=VSI https://www.bing.com/images/search?view=detailV2&ccid=PdQmkfjv&id=5678D38499D279E586E2764B7BF93D952F6413B0&thid=OIP.PdQmkfjv4CTxMSFQLTHP0wHaEf&mediaurl=https%3A%2F%2Fjewishstudies.washington.edu%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F07%2Funnamed-1.jpg&cdnurl=https%3A%2F%2Fth.bing.com%2Fth%2Fid%2FR.3dd42691f8efe024f13121502d31cfd3%3Frik%3DsBNkL5U9%252bXtLdg%26pid%3DImgRaw%26r%3D0&exph=371&expw=612&q=sephardic+jews&FORM=IRPRST&ck=7E4D276C5914D0F0C76A0D16C510A225&selectedIndex=22&itb=0&cw=1721&ch=823&ajaxhist=0&ajaxserp=0
