Cooper Hefner is an American businessperson, teacher, author, activist, and Democratic politician. He is a reservist in the U.S. Air Force. Cooper is the chief creative officer and chief of global partnerships at Playboy Enterprises. He succeeds his father Hugh Hefner as the magazine’s public face.

I think it’s wrong to label Baca family as “Mexican”.
Yeah, the people of predominantly Spanish descent who have been in New Mexico for centuries predate the founding of Mexico. They call themselves Hispanos, which would probably be more appropriate, but even Spanish would be more correct than Mexican.
Colonial (Spanish) American is more accurate.
He has many Mexican-born ancestors, including the originator of the Baca family in New Mexico, who was born in Mexico City. Most people in South America and Central America are of Colonial Spanish descent.
