Chuck Jones was an American animator, director, and artist. He was best known for his work on Warner Bros. and MGM cartoons, including on Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies and Tom & Jerry. He won an Academy Award for his animated short film The Dot and The Line, and an Honorary Academy Award for his contributions to animation.
He was the son of Mabel Vernon and Charles Alvin Jones. He was married to Dorothy Webster, with whom he had a daughter, and to Marian Dern after Dorothy’s death.

I’m surprised Chuck had Native ancestry. No matter how distant. I’m glad this site finally added him and Tex Avery. They should also add Friz Freleng. Friz is Ashkenazi from Poland and Ukraine
