Christopher de Leon is a Filipino actor and politician. He was a Member of the Batangas Provincial Board, from June 30, 2010 to June 30, 2013. He has been referred to as “King of Philippine Drama.”

Christopher is the son of actors Lilia Dizon (Clara Dizon Strauss) and Guillermo “Gil” Evangelista de Leon. Christopher is married to actress Sandy Andolong. He has ten children: five, including actors Ian de Leon, Lotlot de Leon, and Matet de Leon, with his former wife, late actress Nora Aunor; and five, including actor Gabriel de Leon and beauty queen titleholder Mariel de Leon, with Sandy.

Christopher’s paternal grandfather was named Vicente de León.

Christopher’s paternal grandmother was named Elisa Evangelista.

Christopher’s maternal grandfather was Abraham “Abe” Strauss (who likely was the son of Isaac Strauss and Karoline Eschelbauer). Abe was a German Jewish-born U.S. Army personnel, originally from Hartheim am Rhein, Baden-Württemberg.

Christopher’s maternal grandmother was named Regina Dizon. Regina was born in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija.
