Christopher Abbott is an American actor. His mother is of Italian descent, with partly Sicilian roots. His father was born on St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and has African ancestry, to some degree; with some roots on Barbados. His father has also been said to have Portuguese and Eastern European ancestry.

Christopher’s paternal grandfather was Stanley Earl Abbott (the son of Milton Abbott and Ethelyn/Ethel “Etty” Gabriel). Stanley was born in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He was described as “Other non-white” on his divorce record. Ethelyn was the daughter of Charles Gabriel and Elizabeth Elvira Medford, whose roots lay in Barbados.

Christopher’s paternal grandmother was Genevieve “Jennie” Crosby (the daughter of Larry A. Crosby and Matilda Maclean/McLean). Genevieve was born in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She was described as “Black” on her divorce record, and as “White” on a later marriage record.

Christopher’s maternal grandfather was Angelo Arthur Servidio (the son of Natale Servidio and Maria/Mary/Marie Dandrea/D’Anrea/Dandre). Angelo was born in Greenwich, Connecticut. Natale was born in Corigliano Calabro, Cosenza, Calabria, the son of Giuseppe/Joseph Servidio and Rose/Rosa Marrone. Mary was born in New York, the daughter of Italian parents, Guiseppo D’Andre and Rozaria Pirri.

Christopher’s maternal grandmother was Angelina Bottino (the daughter of Richelmo Bottino and Genoveffa Calderaro). Angelina was born in Lattarico, in Province of Cosenza, Calabria, Italy. Richelmo was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the son of Pedro Bottino and Teresina Covello. Genoveffa was born in Torano Castello, Cosenza, the daughter of Salvadore/Salvatore Calderaro and Virginia Rossi/Russo, who were from Termini Imerese, Sicily.
