Chad Hugo is an American record producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. He has been a member of music duo The Neptunes, with Pharrell Williams; and rock band N.E.R.D, which also includes Williams. He is also known as Chase Chad, Neo-Thrift-Musica, Shimmy Hoffa, Yardnoise, and Chad The Creator.

He was raised in Virginia Beach. His parents are Filipino. His father was a navy officer. Chad is married to Priscilla Lynch. He has two children with his former wife Rachel; and one child with Priscilla.
