Calvin Lockhart was a Bahamian-American actor. His roles included the films Dark of the Sun, A Dandy in Aspic, Joanna, Only When I Larf, Salt and Pepper (1968), Nobody Runs Forever, Leo the Last, Halls of Anger, Cotton Comes to Harlem, Myra Breckinridge, Melinda (1972), Hung Up, The Beast Must Die (1974), Uptown Saturday Night, Honeybaby, Honeybaby; Let’s Do It Again, The Baltimore Bullet, Coming to America (1988), Wild at Heart, Predator 2, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, Rain (2008), and Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces; and the shows Talking to a Stranger, The Power Game, Thirty-Minute Theatre, Girl in a Black Bikini, Good Times, and Dynasty.

He was the son of Eric Cooper, a tailor. Calvin moved to New York City, New York, when he was eighteen. He was married to interior designer Jennifer Miles, until his death. He had two children, including actor Julien Lockhart Miles, with Jennifer.
