Bill Burr is an American stand-up comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He co-founded the All Things Comedy network, and has hosted the Monday Morning Podcast. His roles include the shows Breaking Bad, Kroll Show, F Is for Family, The Comedy Store, and Immoral Compass, and the films Date Night, Stand Up Guys, The Heat, Zombeavers, Walk of Shame, Black or White, Daddy’s Home, and its sequel; The Front Runner, The King of Staten Island, The Opening Act, and Dog.

He is the son of Linda, a nurse, and Robert Burr, a dentist. He is married to Nia Hill, with whom he has two children. Nia is African-American.

Bill’s maternal grandfather was Philip/Phillip A. Wigent (the son of Warren Ralph Wigent and Myrtie/Myrta Belle Eisaman). Philip was born in Indiana. Warren was born in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana, the son of John C. Wigent and Ida May Spore. Bill’s great-grandmother Myrtie was born in Whitley, Indiana, the daughter of Nicholas/Nicolas/Nickolas R. Eisaman and Delilah/Elila Hosack, whose maternal grandfather was Irish.

Bill’s maternal grandmother was Mary Lucille Taylor (the daughter of John Marshall Taylor and Catherine/Catharine “Katie”/Kate Wolford/Wolfard). Mary was born in Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana. John was born in Indiana, the son of Henry Howard Taylor, whose paternal grandfather was English; and of Melvina Elizabeth Mossman, whose paternal grandfather was born in County Down, Ireland.
