Behati is married to American singer, television personality, and actor Adam Levine, with whom she has three children. She has also been billed as Behati Prinsloo Levine.

Behati’s paternal grandmother was Isabella Jacoba van Tonder (the daughter of Jacobus Coenraad van Tonder and Isabella Jacoba Mostert). Jacobus was born in Brakfontein, Rustenburg, Transvaal, the son of Cornelis Jacobus Van Tonder and Elizabetha/Elizabeth Susanna Breytenbach. Behati’s great-grandmother Jacoba was born in Rustenburg, the daughter of Johannes Hendrik Mostert and Isabella Jacoba/Jakoba Smit/Smid.

    Her Norwegian ancestry can be traced back to Andries Oelofse, born in Oslo, Norway, around 1650. The Oelofse surname is Afrikaans but has Scandinavian origins.
