His songs include “Peso,” “Fuckin’ Problems,” “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 (LPFJ2),” “Everyday,” and “L$D.” His roles include the films Dope (2015), Zoolander 2, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Monster (2018), If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, and Highest 2 Lowest; the video games Marvel Avengers Academy and Need for Speed Unbound; and the music video for “National Anthem.” He has been a member of hip-hop collective ASAP Mob; along with Playboy Carti. He is also known as Lord Flacko, Pretty Flacko Jodye II, and Flacko.

His father was from Barbados. He was named Rakim after hip hop legend Rakim, one half of the Eric B. & Rakim duo. His cousin is rapper, songwriter, and model ASAP Nast; the two are members of hip hop collective ASAP Mob. He has three children with his partner, Barbadian singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer Rihanna.
