Amanda de Cadenet is a British media personality, television presenter, photographer, and actress. She is known for interviewing public figures. She became known in the U.K., before working the U.S. She has been a host on The Word, The Big Breakfast, The Conversation, The Talk, Undone with @AmandadeCadenet, and Now What With Amanda de Cadenet. Her acting roles include the films The Rachel Papers, Four Rooms, Grace of My Heart, Fall (1997), and Brokedown Palace.

Amanda is the daughter of Anna, a model and interior designer, and Alain de Cadenet, a racing car driver and television presenter. Her brother is artist, painter, photographer, and sculptor Alexander de Cadenet. Amanda is married to American rock guitarist Nick Valensi. She has a daughter with her former husband, musician John Taylor; and two children with Nick.

Amanda’s paternal grandfather was named Maxime de Cadenet. Maxime was a film technician in the French Air Force.

Amanda’s paternal grandmother was Joyce Valarie Braham (the daughter of Alf Braham and Annie “Joy” Rosen). Valerie was Jewish. She had been an actress in Hollywood. Annie was the daughter of Solomon Hyman Rosen and Gittel Pearl.

Amanda’s maternal grandfather’s surname was Gerrard.
