Alexander Elliot is a Canadian actor. He starred as Joe Hardy in the series The Hardy Boys, opposite Rohan Campbell as Frank Hardy. His roles also include the films Violent Night and All the Lost Ones, and the made-for-tv movie Dateless to Dangerous: My Son’s Secret Life. He has also been credited as Alexander Schmelzer and Alex Elliot.

It appears that both of his parents are Romanian immigrants. He is of Jewish heritage.
