Alex Essoe, or Alexandra Essoe, is a Canadian actress, producer, and writer. Her roles include the films Passion Play, Starry Eyes, Tales of Halloween, The Neighbor (2016), Midnighters, The Super (2017), Doctor Sleep (2019), Homewrecker, which she also co-wrote; Death of Me, Trim Season, The Pope’s Exorcist, and The Last Stop in Yuma County; and the shows The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, and The Fall of the House of Usher.

Alex was born in Saudi Arabia, and moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at the age of twelve. Her father was born in Budapest, Hungary; his family moved to the U.S. in 1948, and he grew up in the U.S. Her mother is Canadian.
